This is the first blog in the skateboarding page so im gonna start it off with a link to one of the most well known and most talked about websites in the world of skateboarding. It shows all the top profesional skateboarders skating at a skatepark named the Berrics after the Co-owners Steve Berra and Eric Koston. Both owners are professional skaters if you do not know them so they know exactly what to do with the park and exactly what to look for in the riders that they represent and let skate at there park. They update their videos and everything else on their website daily so let me know what you think of the site and tell me about anything you like on their website.

I’m guessing that those of you who visit this page on the site like to watch skate videos at least somewhat. So I figured I would give you a pointer to which videos are my favorite.
– At #5 is Round 3 by Almost. Sure its an older film but the skating involved in it is very good and it has a unique style to it.
– At #4 is Ride the Sky by Fallen. It is the video to watch if all you want to see is just straight up skating with no special editing or anything.
– At #3 is In Color by The Denver Shop. Very few if any of you have probably heard of this video. it is out of a skate shop in Denver and is incredible.
– At #2 is Fully Flared by Lakai. Another straight up skating video with the edition of some explosions and some impressive editing, long and a must see.
– At #1 is Mind Field by Alien Workshop. Editing and the creativity behind this skate video is mind boggling. Be prepared to be amazed.

Those of you who are deep into skateboarding should know all about the Maloof Money Cup. What you may not of heard if that they are branching away from just being in California. This year the event will be held in New York City as well. This will take place on June 5th and 6th in Flushing Meadows Park in Queens. It will only be the street compition though, with the winner of the event earning $100,000! Not just pocket change!!! Don’t think that this is going to stop them from having it in Cali as well though. It will take place between August 4th-8th and will include both vert and street. Here they will also be awarding $100,000 to the street winner as well as $75,000 to the vert winner. “I think this thing has evolved from a small skateboarding camp to a major skateboarding event,” Maloof said. “It’s going to expand opportunities for skateboarding around the world.”
